Ayushmann Khurana is usually seen choosing the stories and playing on the screen which does not have a special discussion in the society, and the subjects which are considered no less than a taboo. Stories with some issues like body shaming, sperm donation.

His upcoming film 'Article 15' also deals with the issue of casteism and where he is seen in the role of an upper-cast police officer, has already created a buzz among his fans. 

 Let me tell you that the trailer of the film was released recently and the kind of response that the trailer has received proves that the film of Ayushman, which hits the caste system, will also be special in many ways for India. A serious issue was hidden in it.  

 Recently, actor Ayushman has been talking about his film saying that I also prepared myself for a lot of scripts and I have always stayed in search of good stories. While for movies articles 15 and Andhadhun I was not even the first choice of directors for films like that.

These two films have been taken away from Anubhav Sinha and Sriram Raghavan. He says that  Anubhav Sinha had never felt that I could play a policeman and he had felt that I might not have specific knowledge of the subject. While he wanted an actor for article 15 to have a close understanding of the subject of the film. The film eventually came in my part.
