New Delhi: The 'Amrut Mahotsav of Freedom' is being celebrated in India. The Amrut Mahotsav of Independence is a series of programs organized by the Government of India to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the country's independence. The festival will be celebrated across the country as a public festival in the spirit of public participation. A National Implementation Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of The Home Minister to formulate policies and plans for the programs to be held on the 75th anniversary of Independence. The programs of the festival have started from 12th March 2021. These events are being held 75 weeks before 15th August 2022.
