New Delhi: Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and sitting MLA Azam Khan has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Azam. With this, the hopes of Azam coming out of Sitapur jail for two years have increased. Out of the total 89 cases registered against Azam Khan, he has already been granted bail in 88 cases.

 

It is being told that if no new case is registered against Azam Khan, there will be no hindrance in his coming out of jail after getting bail from the top court today in the 89th case. Along with granting interim bail, the Supreme Court has given exemption that Azam Khan will also be able to apply for regular bail in two weeks in the concerned court. The Supreme Court said that the interim bail will continue till regular bail is granted by the competent court.

Interim bail will continue till the court decides on normal bail. If the court does not grant normal bail to Azam Khan, the interim bail will continue for the next two weeks. While giving its verdict, the top court said that the conditions of Azam Khan's bail will be decided by the trial court. Azam Khan will have to apply for normal bail within 2 weeks.
