 B Sriramulu, the MLA of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recently expressed his agreement over the demand to separate North Karnataka and declare it as an independent state. He said if injustice continued, he would definitely support the idea.

The MLA Sriramulu stated that he would take the appeal forward that is intended to separate North Karnataka from the state of Karnataka.

He affirmed, "If injustice continues, then I will lead this agitation for a separate state for north Karnataka. We are not going to sit with our hands tied.”
Shriramulu is a BJP MLA belonging to Molkalmoru, expressed his opinion on the matter and said that he is in complete favor of the idea of separating North Karnataka from Karnataka. He also added that he would also give his complete support to the Strike, that has been organized by certain organizations, on the 2nd of August.

 

Talking about the Kumaraswamy government, Sriramulu asserted that the government had been extremely partial and was ignoring the north part of the state. Leaders of Karnataka have blamed the ruling coalition government for being partial towards the northern part and did not provide enough budget for its upliftment.
