Giving information about the matter, TI Pankaj Dwivedi said that on the complaint of Chandu son Anandrao, resident of Tapunagar, a case of fraud has been registered against the criminal Mahendra resident Bhagirathpura, Pooja resident Bhagirathpura and Lakshmi resident Bhagirathpura. According to Chandu, the criminal Pooja and her mother Lakshmi used to live near the house earlier. Due to this, the marriage negotiations took place through the agent. The criminals first took 30 thousand rupees. Later, they bluffed the contract in the court and took 44 thousand again. Before marriage, also bought jewellery, saris and clothes.
They were the ones who dodged the criminals and fled. Agent Mahendra also refused assistance. Chandu caught Mahendra near Kalali on Monday and found that the mother and daughter lived in a rented house in Bhagirathpura. Police also arrested Pooja late in the night.
