Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh is scheduled to be cremated at Atrauli today. However, earlier, people are going to pay obeisance to him for his last darshan. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also arrived for the funeral today and said, "Babuji's departure is a big loss for the BJP." Amit Shah said 'it would be difficult to fill the void he has left. After the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ram Mandir, he had said that the goal of his life has been fulfilled. He left the CM post without thinking for the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.'

Preparations are currently being made in full swing for the funeral of former CM Kalyan Singh. On the other hand, all efforts are being made to make the funeral of Ram Bhakta Kalyan Singh grand. As per the information received, 21 kg of sandalwood has been provided for the last rites of Kalyan Singh and five quintals of mango wood will also be used.

As part of the information received, 45 kg of ghee, one until aromatic material saffron will also be used at Kalyan Singh's funeral and mewa misthan has also been included in his funeral material. Preparations for the funeral are currently under finalizing and there are reports that Babuji Kalyan Singh's last rites will be held at Basi Ghat in Narora at around 2 pm.
