The saint and priests of Mahakal temple had demanded to change the song in 10 days. A warning was also given to lodge an FIR. After the controversy escalated, Badshah apologized and asked to change the lyrics in the song. Now Badshah has removed the name of Shiva from the song. 

The priests of the Mahakal temple have advised the king to visit Baba Mahakal and seek his blessings. Badshah's fad song was in the news a lot. The song was viewed by 25 million people in a month. Badshah, the singer of Sanak song, has apologized after 5 days of controversy and has removed the disputed word on Lord Shiva from the song in 10 days. Badshah has apologized saying, "The lyrics of the song Sanak have hurt the sentiments of some people, I never want to hurt anyone's sentiments knowingly or unknowingly and I will never forward. Bringing it with all honesty for the fans. In this recent song, I have talked about changing some parts of the song, he said that the controversial lyrics have been removed by re-editing the song from social media platforms." 

Although this song has not been deleted from YouTube yet. On the other hand, Mahesh Sharma, the priest of Mahakal temple, said that the king has kept his promise and to protect Hindu religion, he has also removed the controversial lyrics from the song, he should come to the Mahakal temple and seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal.
