The era of remakes and remixes in Bollywood is going on as if there is no other song. At this time, songs of 80-90s are being remixed in Bollywood in front of the audience by remixing them in a new collection, which is or is not liked by the audience to some extent. In such a situation, the process of remixing old songs is going on indiscriminately. At the same time, music composer Vishal-Shekhar had said in the past with a tweet that, 'If anyone tries to remix their songs, they will resort to the law.'
At the same time, rapper Badshah also talked about the remake of the songs. Yes, Badshah has lent his voice in many such remixes in the past and while talking about his favorite remake song, Badshah said, "My favorite remake is 'Aankh Mare'. In my opinion, it is better than the original. But there are so many remakes, which I do not understand why they are being made. For me I am done with remakes. The quality of remakes has gone down.
Having said that I have done a remake and I have done it very tastefully. We took Mika Singh’s song and Mika himself sang the remix. I made ‘Humma’ (Ok Jaanu) as well which Rahman sir did not like at the beginning. But later when he met me 6-7 months later and said that now he likes the song and said he is sorry. And I was like sir you don’t need to say sorry; but there have been remakes I made, of which I had to be a part because of my relations.”
