To prepare for the impending festive season, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave the directives in this respect while presiding over a review meeting of senior officials, including police commissioners, divisional commissioners, district magistrates, and superintendents of police.

Adityanath says this year due to Adhimas (additional month), Shravan is of two-month duration. The festivals of Shravani Shivratri, Nagpanchami, and Rakshabandhan will be celebrated during this period.

The traditional Kanwar Yatra will take place in the holy month of Shravan which is starting from July 4. Earlier on June 29 Bakri Edi will be celebrated. The time is delicate from the view of law and order. So we have to be alert and careful. Yogi says this.

Respecting the belief of the devotee meat is not allowed to be sold in the open on the Kanwar Yatra route. The route will remain clean and sanitized. There will be provision of streetlights on the way. As weather condition is hot the arrangement of drinking water will be made.

The place drive and CCTV cameras around the Yatra path. To prevent traffic obstruction, the locations for Kanwar Camps should be marked beforehand. The sound level of the DJ, music, etc. used during the Kanwar Yatra procession should be prescribed standards.

The event organizer will be permitted to organize but they will need to follow the rules and regulations.

CM also said that there should be NO display of weapons in the religious process. There will be a continuous lookout for any tricksters who could try to unduly incite members of other communities. In sensitive regions, more police should be stationed. Every evening, the police should conduct foot patrols. Anarchic elements should be aggressively dealt with, and PRV 112 should continue to operate.

During the meeting, Yogi Adityanath mentioned during Ramzan traffic was not affected due to religious activities. That was appreciated all over the country. During the occasion of Bakri Eid and Muharram, they will implement the same system. The place for the sacrifice on Bakri Eid should be marked in advance. Sacrifice will not be done anywhere other than the place marked. There should be an action plan for the systematic disposal of waste after sacrifice in every district.

This year it is Adhimas the number of devotees will increase who arrive in the state from all over the country, which is possible as last year one corner devotee of Lord Shiva offered worship at Kashi Vishwanath Tempel Varanasi.

The CM also gave instructions to the officials regarding the problem of the children being converted to religion via gaming and chat apps. Recently unlawful religious conversions have surfaced in numerous regions of the nation. The Ghaziabad incident involved the conversion of young people through online gaming and messaging apps. Controlling  such anti-social and anti-national occurrences quickly is essential according to Adityanath

This syndicate keeps an eye on disabled children and youth looking for jobs. Financial temptations are also being given. The entire syndicate of illegal religious conversion needs to be wiped out.   

Senior officers assigned to police station circles, districts, ranges, zones, and divisions are instructed by Adityanath to engage with local religious leaders and other notable members of society. Send out a message of hope to the populace. Gather the peace committee together.
