Dhaka: Corona is wreaking havoc all around the world. India's neighbouring country Bangladesh reported 1,049 new COVID-19 cases and 24 new deaths on Sunday, making the tally at 509,148 and the death toll at 7,452.
the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said that 12,650 samples were tested in the last 24 hours across Bangladesh. The total number of recovered patients in the country stood at 451,961 including 1,473 new recoveries on Sunday, According to the official data, the fatality rate in Bangladesh is 1.46 percent and the current recovery rate is 88.77 percent.
Talking about India, The country's daily number of COVID-19 cases today stood at 18,732, the lowest since July 1, when 18,653 cases were recorded. Up to 279 deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours, taking the overall count since the outbreak in January to 1,47,622. The country's overall positive cases stood at 1,01,87,850, with 2,78,690 active cases.
