NADA imposes four-year ban on boxer Nishu for doping

New Delhi: The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) on Sunday said that it has imposed a four-year ban on boxer Nishu for doping. Nada said the player tested positive for prohibited substance Mentandienone (Anabolic-Androgenic Steroid) and the Anti Doping Disciplinary Panel (ADDP) has imposed ban on the boxer.

In a tweet, NADA said, "Ms Nishu of Boxing discipline had tested dope positive for Prohibited Substance Mentandienone (Anabolic Androgenic Steroid). ADDP has imposed 4 years Ineligibility on her." Earlier, a two-year ban on basketball player Satnam Singh Bhamara for doping was imposed.

Nada on Thursday said the player tested positive for Higenamine Beta-2-Agonist and the Anti Doping Disciplinary Panel has imposed the ban on Satnam. He made history when he was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks with the 52nd overall pick.
