New Delhi: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met Foreign Minister Subramanian Jaishankar in Delhi on Saturday. External Affairs Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said in a tweet that Jaishankar had discussed various issues with Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina. During this time India reiterated its commitment to give the highest importance to relations with Bangladesh.

Ravish Kumar has also shared two photos of PM Sheikh Hasina and Jaishankar with his tweet. It is noteworthy that PM Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh is on a four-day visit to India. Many agreements are to be signed during his visit. He attended an event organized by the Government of India and three industry organizations in India to provide a direct dialogue with the Indian industry representatives to the Government of Bangladesh and its businessmen.

During this, Sheikh Hasina said that three special economic zones have been created in Bangladesh for Indian investors. They have expressed hope that this will give a boost to Bangladesh's exports.
