Banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in April 2023:
* 1st April 2023 Bank Holiday: On April 1, 2023, we will start closing accounts that people are not using. Banks will remain open only for the people of Chandigarh, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya on this day.

* 5 April 2023 Bank Holiday – This day is a bank holiday only in Telangana due to the birthday of Babu Jagjivan Rai.
* 8th April 2023 Bank Holiday: Being the second Saturday of the month, banks will be closed on this day.
* 9 April 2023 Bank Holiday: This day is Saturday, so all the banks in the country are going to remain closed.
* 14 April 2023 Bank Holiday - Except some states on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, on this day Ranchi, Srinagar, Kerala, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Telangana, Imphal, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Dehradun, Kochi, Nagpur, Panaji, Banks are going to remain closed in Patna, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Gangtok, Guwahati, Jammu, Kanpur, Chennai and Kolkata.
* 15 April 2023 Bank Holiday - Banks are going to remain closed on this day only in Kolkata, Shimla, Agartala, Guwahati, Kerala and Kochi due to Bohag Bihu.
* 16 April 2023 Bank Holiday: This day is Sunday; for this reason, banks will remain closed all over the country.
* April 18, 2023, Bank Holiday: Banks are going to remain closed on this day only in Jammu and Srinagar due to Shab-e-Qadr.
* 21 April 2023 Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed on this day in Kochi, Srinagar, Kerala, Agartala, and Jammu due to Eid-ul-Fitr, i.e., Sweet Eid.
* 22 April 2023 Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed due to this day being the fourth Saturday of the month.
* 23rd April 2023 Bank Holiday: This Sunday is a nationwide holiday for the bank.
* April 30, 2023, Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed on this day also due to Sunday.
