New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a review meeting with the chief managers of public sector banks on Saturday. The director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who attended it, promised that bank officials who take the right decisions will no longer fear the CBI. It was determined in the meeting that every notice sent by CBI will have a unique registration number so that it will be known that the notice sent by CBI is authentic.

She said that the investigation agency's action will be more sensitive for the business which has failed due to the legitimate commercial region. Bank officials will not be afraid of taking the right decision. They will be given separate treatment facilities for the bonafide decisions related to any project or business. That is, some concessions will be available.

Along with this, CBI will conduct several workshops with bank officials, which will tell how to stop fraud and take the right decisions? What are the wrong decisions? Information about this will also be given. Normally cases of more than Rs 3 crore will be handed over to CBI by banks. The CBI will not register the Suomoto case on its behalf.
