On Wednesday morning, i.e. today, February 16, there was news that has blown everyone's senses. The news is that musician and singer Bappi Lahari, who popularized disco music in India in the 80s and 90s, has turned away from the world. Bappi Lahiri breathed his last at the age of 69. The director of the hospital, Dr Deepak Namjoshi, told the media that Bappi Lahari was admitted to the hospital for a month and was also discharged on Monday but his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family had sent a doctor to his house. They were brought back to the hospital. They had many health problems. He died. Due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight. This sad news has spread the weeds in the movie industry.

People fondly call Bappi Da by people. He started playing the tabla from the age of just 3, seeing which his father Aparesh Lahri helped him learn even more qualities. According to media reports, Bappi da has also given new music to the Bollywood industry. He also introduced Hindi cinema to rock and disco music. In the 70s-80s, he has also forced everyone to dance to his songs.

Bappi Lahari was inspired by popular singer SD Burman and at the age of 17, he decided to become a musician. He used to listen to SD Burman's songs and used to do practice as well. As a musician, Bappi started his career with the 1972 release of the Bengali movie 'Dadu''. His first Hindi movie for which he has composed the music was The Little Hunter (1973). The movie that established him in Bollywood was Tahir Hussain's Hindi movie, Zakhmy (1975), for which he composed music and has made a mark as a playback singer.
