Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, 18 people were killed in a tragic road accident in Barabanki. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad have expressed grief over the incident. CM Nitish Kumar has also announced an assistance of 2 lakh rupees each to the next of kin of the deceased.
CM Nitish Kumar has expressed grief and deep condolences over the loss of 18 lives in a road accident in Barabanki. He said on Wednesday that so far 12 people from Bihar have been reported killed and 10 injured in the accident. Announcing two lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased in Bihar, CM Nitish Kumar said that the Uttar Pradesh government is being approached to provide proper treatment and bring the injured to Bihar. He said officials from Bihar are also being sent to the spot.
CM Nitish has also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the accident. Meanwhile, state deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad expressed grief over the incident and said that the incident is very heart-rending. He said that our thoughts are with all the injured and dependent families of the deceased in the incident.
