Bhopal: Phool Singh Baraiya, a Congress candidate from Madhya Pradesh's Bhandair assembly constituency, has spoken out that the controversy has escalated. The controversy is showing a deeper look since listening to his speech. Under the information received, Baraiya has deeply hurt the Ganga Jamuni life system of the country in the eyes of eminent jurists from Jabalpur, Indore, and Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Now, it is being said that it is a legal offense and it is a statement spreading racial hysteria. His statement is also being described as an inflammatory statement to provoke a riot. Even after that, Congress is silent and nothing has been spoken so far. There are also reports that Baraiya may be imprisoned or fined or both up to 3 years under section 153 (a).

According to 153 (b), it is a legal offence to speak, write, etc., against any caste, community, etc., and the one who does so is punishable with imprisonment up to 5 years. It is said that action is possible under the Representation of the People Act against Phool Singh Baraiya. His statement is in the category of crime, says Avhesh Singh Bhadoria. At present, there is nothing clear in the matter.
