The long-awaited trailer of "Barzakh," a new web-series, has finally been unveiled after weeks of anticipation through stills and posters. Directed by Asim Abbasi, this series marks a significant reunion of Pakistani stars Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, last seen together in the popular 2012 show "Zindagi Gulzar Hai."

"Barzakh" tells the compelling story of a 76-year-old recluse who invites his estranged children and grandchildren to his remote valley resort. The reason? To celebrate an extraordinary and unconventional event—his marriage to the spirit of his first true love. This emotionally deep narrative prompts viewers to contemplate life's mysteries, the afterlife, and the enduring power of love.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Hunza Valley, the series beautifully captures the region's natural splendor, enhancing its storytelling with serene landscapes and cultural richness.

Apart from Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, the six-episode series features a talented ensemble cast including Salman Shahid, M Fawad Khan, Eman Suleman, Khushhal Khan, Faiza Gillani, Anika Zulfikar, and Franco Giusti.
