The online auction of basketball player Kobe Bryant's jersey worn in the match played in 1996-97 has been announced. The auction line will open from May 18 which is scheduled to run till June 4. The auction is estimated to fetch a bid of $3 to $5 million (about Rs 23 to Rs 38 crore). Bryant wore this jersey in two playoff games and won it.

SCP auction organizer David Kohler says that, the bid at the auction of the 25-year-old jersey is going to set a record for the jersey of the basketball game. Last year in 2021, another Bryant jersey was auctioned, with a total bid of $3.69 million (about Rs 28 crore).

With which Bryant's trading card was also auctioned for $1.8 million (about Rs 13 crore). On January 26, 2020, seven people, including basketball player Bryant, lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California.
