Nalanda: In a tragic incident, on Saturday, a bus fell into a water-filled ditch at Jhadu Bigha mode under Bind police station in the Nalanda district of Bihar killing five passengers and injuring 25 others. The bodies have been sent for the postmortem at Civil hospital in Bihar Sharif.
The wounded were rushed to hospital. Nalanda district Magistrate Dr. Thiyagarajan SM said, “five people have died and around 20-25 passengers are injured. The treatment of injured passengers is going in hospital”.
A relief of Rs. 4 lakh has been declared by the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to the families of the victims.
