New Delhi: Team India's tour of Sri Lanka has been in the news. Earlier, discussions were on as two teams of Team India visited two countries simultaneously. The tour is now in the news as sri lankan team members are corona positive. It was reported on Friday that the dates of the one-day series between India and Sri Lanka have been changed. This has been confirmed by Jai Shah, Secretary, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

After Sri Lanka batting coach Grant Flower, who returned from the tour of England, the team's data analysts were also found corona positive. After the duo was thus arrested by Corona, there are doubts about the rest of the team. On Friday evening, it was reported that the date of the first match of the three ODI series between the two countries has been extended. A day later, the secretary of the BCCI justified it.

Team India was scheduled to play the first match of the three-match ODI series on July 13, which has now been reduced to July 18. The date of further series matches has also been extended accordingly. Ganguly reportedly told the media that the first match of the series will be played on July 18 instead of 13 due to corona case.
