Ajith and Vijay are the most popular actors in Tamil cinema. Even though these two stars are good friends, sometimes their respective fans see them as rivals, and there is always a comparison between them. Recent reports suggest that Vijay's upcoming film 'Beast' had occupied the shooting spot of Thala Ajith's 'Valimai'.

The second schedule of ‘Beast’ is currently being filmed at the east coast regions of Chennai, and the team has erected a huge set for the same. Ajith’s upcoming movie ‘Valimai’ too was shot in the same location. According to the reports, Ajith has filmed an action sequence at the spot, earlier.

Vijay's 'Mersal', Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2', and few other films have also been shot in the location and the place away from the city limits allows the filmmakers to shoot with freedom and peace. A song featuring Vijay and Pooja Hegde has been shot during the schedule. 'Beast' shooting is heading calm and steadily, and the makers are yet to decide on the film's release date. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures, and it has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
