Atlee is currently concentrating on his Bollywood movie with Shah Rukh Khan, and the pre-production works are underway. Atlee wasn’t ready to disappoint his Kollywood audience with his absence during this time and hence he has decided to produce several films in Tamil. As per the reports, he will be producing a film with Jai in the lead role, and the film is reported to be directed by a debutant Enoc, who worked as an assistant to Atlee in all his directorial.

Atlee, who begun his journey in cinema directing 'Raja Rani’ has become one of the most promising talents in Tamil cinema. The filmmaker who had ventured into production with Arjun Das starrer 'Andhagaaram' will be donning the producer’s hat again for an upcoming film starring Jai.

A former assistant director under S Shankar on the films Enthiran (2010) and Nanban (2012), he is best known for his directorial debut, Raja Rani, produced by Fox Star Studios, for which he was awarded the Vijay Award for Best Debut Director.  was a director, screenplay and writer for Theri (2016), Mersal (2017) and Bigil (2019) .
