New Delhi: Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of Team India due to a back stress fracture. Now Mohammed Siraj has been included in the Indian team's squad in his place. On Friday, the BCCI has given information in this regard by tweeting. Siraj will be present for the remaining two matches of the three-match T20 series against South Africa. India leads the series 1-0. The second match will be played in Guwahati on October 2, while the final match will be played in Indore on October 4.

Let us know that there were options like Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, and Mohammed Siraj to replace Bumrah. Finally, the selectors selected Siraj. Fast bowler Siraj's recent form has been very good and he has looked in rhythm. Siraj made his county debut for Warwickshire earlier this month, where he performed with a bang. Siraj has taken five wickets for 82 runs in the first innings against Somerset in that match at Edgbaston ground. 

Whenever Mohammed Siraj got a chance, he tried to give his best for India. Siraj has so far played 13 Tests, 10 ODIs and 5 T20 Internationals for India. In Test cricket, Siraj has taken 40 wickets at an average of 30.77. During this time his best performance has been 5 wickets for 73 runs in an innings. Talking about ODI Internationals, Siraj has taken 13 at an average of 31.07. Apart from this, Siraj has also taken five wickets in T20 International.
