New Delhi: The Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided on IPL 2021. The remaining 31 matches of the tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) between September and October this year. But the picture about the t20 World Cup is yet to be clear. BCCI will seek a moratorium from ICC to July to take a final decision on the T20 World Cup. A big meeting of the ICC is scheduled for June 1 on the future of the T20 World Cup. It may decide on organizing the tournament and hosting India.
Sources in the BCCI said that it has been decided that there is still more than four months left in the T20 World Cup. In that case, BCCI will propose to the ICC that it be given at least the first week of July. So that he can take a concrete decision on organizing the tournament. The source said the T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played in October-November. There are still four months left. The situation arising out of corona is slowly improving.
