In Bollywood, Kumar Gaurav is named as an actor who made his mark among spectators as Lavar Boy in the 80s. He has done some films after which he has got the same tag as Love Boy. Today is his birthday and you're going to have a few special things about it on this special day.

Born on July 11, 1960, Manoj Tuli alias Kumar Gaurav wanted to be an actor like his father Rajendra Kumar from his childhood days. His father Rajendra was a well-known actor.

Kumar Gaurav began his cinema career with his father-made 1981 film 'Lovestory'. After the success of the film, Kumar Gaurav worked in films such as Teri Kasam Star Lovers and Romance, though all films flopped at the box office except Teri Kasam.

Kumar did not have much success in his career. His father helped him improve his career but failed. From the 1993 film Flowers, he screened the duo of Kumar Gaurav and Madhuri Dixit. But that didn't help either.

He worked in the film Forks in 2002. It was a multistarrer film. The film grossed well on box opis and became the third highest grossing film of the year 2002.

Kumar Gaurav married Namrata Dutt in 1984. Namrata is the daughter of Sunil Dutt and Nargis and the sister of Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt and Kumar Gaurav worked together in the film Naam and Kante. It proved to be the last hit film of Kumar Gaurav's career.

Humbly Kumar Gaurav has two daughters. One is called Sachi and the other is Sia. Sachi is married to Bilal Amrohi. Bilal Amrohi is the grandson of film director Kamal Amrohi.
