New Delhi: Apart from the corona epidemic, other battles have also started in the country. In fact, all of you must know that in the past, Twitter has carried out new operations. In fact, Twitter removed the verified blue tick from the personal Twitter handle of several leaders, including the Vice President of India. The Central Government issued a notice to the Twitter. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now hit out at the Modi government over the same. A new tweet was recently posted by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from his Twitter account.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi wrote with the hashtag Priority (#Priorities) : "Modi government is fighting for blue tick - if you want a covid vaccine, be self-reliant! #Priorities". Let us tell you that recently the Central Government had issued new guidelines (rules) to social media companies on their content on 25th February, 2021. In fact, 3 months time was given by the Government to comply with these rules, the period of which has been completed yesterday.

So far, many companies are not ready to follow these rules and these companies include Twitter. The Twitter has also not followed these rules so far, due to which the Central Government has also sent a notice to the Twitter and issued a final warning that "it should follow these rules" . You must be aware that by issuing a notice to the Twitter, the Government has warned that "If these rules are not followed by the Twitter, it will lose exemption from liability under the IT Act".
