According to the conclusion, if a woman is giving or sharing a perfume to a friend, then certainly she does not like that perfume. Many women want to keep the perfume of their choice a secret because they consider it an integral part of their identity.

Those studying say that 'women's favourite fragrance is an important pillar of their personal identity. And they use the same perfume for years and some women keep their perfume secret among their friends.' The study studied 146 women from the US and the Netherlands. And when women like perfume, they either buy it for themselves or for their male friend. But not for any girlfriend. When they do not like any perfume, they buy it neither for themselves nor for their male friend, but for their female friend.
