Lucknow: BJP has started strategizing its campaign for the assembly elections. Several BJP leaders, including the UP election in charge, also held meetings at Banaras and Delhi on Sunday. It was decided that more than 200 rallies are going to be held in all parts of UP within the next one and a half months. 30 Ministers of the Central Government have been given the responsibility of these rallies and programmes.
It has been revealed that the highest preparations are being made for the elections in UP. According to sources, UP is the focus of the upcoming assembly elections in UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to hold the highest number of election rallies of PM Modi and the home minister Amit Shah and some other senior leaders.
Sources in the party who have chalked out an election strategy in this regard believe that the plan is being made to ensure that one or the other senior leader is present on UP every day in the next 45 days. And that contact with the people will continue to be made through some rally or some program. Moreover, party sources said that the highest number of visits by PM Modi and Home Minister Shah have been scheduled in UP in the next 30 days but are being extended by 15 days till January 15. PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Shah, along with BJP National President, JP Nadda will outline the Prime Minister's election programs for the next two months.
