In the middle of the Russia-Ukraine war, Belarus has been warned by the US. The US has said in a threatening tone that siding with Russia could be overwhelming for Belarus. A statement on this came from US State Department spokesman Ned Price. Tuesday is the sixth day of the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to Ukraine, 352 people, including 16 children, have lost their lives in the Russian attack so far. They said the death toll continues to rise as Russian shelling continues.

Meanwhile, US State Department spokesman Ned Price has said that if President Alexander Lukashenko continues to support Putin's action on Ukraine, Belarus could have to pay the price. Earlier on Monday, the US suspended 12 Russian UN personnel for non-diplomatic "activities".

So far Belarus has stood with Russia in this war. On Monday, there was also news that Belarus could support Russia in the attack on Ukraine. So far, Belarus had not directly surfaced in the war. But on Monday morning, Russia's attack on Ukraine's Zhytomyr airport used the Iskander missile. This airstrike was abandoned by Belarus. Belarus said it would not allow Russia to use its territory for airstrikes, even though it had happened. Not only that, Belarus has terminated its non-nuclear status, so that Russia's nuclear missiles can be deployed there.
