The International Hockey Federation (FIH) Pro League matches are underway in England. The Indian team will face Belgium on Friday and Great Britain on Saturday. Captain Harmanpreet said that the team is ready for the challenge of the upcoming matches. The team was given a dinner by the Indian High Commission. Earlier, we came to England in 2017 to play. Now we have matches on June 2 and 3. We are also asking Indian fans to come to the match.

Winning and losing is part of the game but your attitude is important in the middle of a match. Defeat is also a lesson. Goalkeeper Sreejesh has said that our team is very talented. The players get a lot of love and support from the country.

Indian High Commissioner Vikram Duraiswami has said that it is a matter of pride to welcome the Indian team. The hockey team is a team that represents every part of India. However, Punjab is over-represented as it is one of the states where hockey is very popular.
