West Bengal: Former West Bengal minister Rajib Banerjee has joined the BJP party along with some other former leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. Talking about Rajib Banerjee, he left the Trinamool Congress and accompanied him by MLAs Prabir Ghoshal and Baishali Dalmiya and former Howrah Mayor Rathin Chakraborty to Delhi in a special aircraft. There he met the central leaders of the BJP.

Now recently, BJP General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has given a statement. In this statement, he said, “People are feeling that only BJP can develop here. TMC activists and people of Bengal are realizing that TMC has so far only cheated people. We hope that under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP will form the government here and make 'Sonar Bangla' come true. ” Apart from him, on joining BJP, former TMC MLA Rajiv Banerjee said, “I have told the Home Minister that the people of West Bengal are suffering from despair. There is a need to improve the law and order situation in the state. Industries need to be set up so that the youth can get employment. ”

Apart from this he also said, “I have also said that a special package is needed for Bengal. He said that it would be an honor if the party manages to take power in West Bengal. The development of the state will be focused on in a very targeted manner. ” By the way, Home Minister Amit Shah has also tweeted. In this tweet, he wrote, "Former Trinamool Congress leaders, Rajib Banerjee, Baishali Dalmiya, Prabir Ghoshal, Rathin Chakraborty, and Rudranil Ghosh joined BJP today in New Delhi. I am confident that his joining will strengthen the BJP's fight for Sonar Bangla. ''
