New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has addressed the Mann Ki Baat program. During his address during this time, he said, "The country was very sad to see the insult of the tricolor on 26 January". With this, PM Narendra Modi also said, 'We have to fill the time with new hope and innovation. We showed exceptional restraint and courage last year. This year too, we have to work hard and prove our resolve. Apart from this, PM Modi also said, 'With the beginning of this year, our fight against Corona has also been completed for almost a year. Just as India's fight against Corona has become an example, similarly, now, our vaccination program is also becoming an example in the world.'

Further PM Modi also said, 'India has vaccinated more than 3 million of its Corona Warriors in just 15 days whereas a rich country like America took 18 days to do this work and Britain got 36 days. In times of crisis, India is able to serve the world because India, today capable of medicines and vaccines, is self-sufficient. This is also the thinking of the Self-Reliant India Campaign.'

Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said in his address that the 'Budget session' has also started after the President has addressed the joint session of Parliament. Between them all there is another work, which we all are waiting for a lot - this is the announcement of the Padma Awards. This year too, the awardees include those who have done excellent work in different fields, changed one's life with their work, moved the country forward. The nation honored people doing extraordinary work for their achievements and their contribution to humanity. The tradition of giving Padma Samman to the grassroots Unsung Heroes, which was started by the country a few years ago, has been maintained this time too.'

Further PM Modi also said in his address that, 'This month, there was also a lot of good news from the cricket pitch. Our cricket team made a great comeback and won the series in Australia. The hard work and teamwork of our players are motivating.'
