New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah was scheduled to address the gathering today in Dumurajala of Howrah. Indeed, his Bengal tour was canceled and hence today he is going to address the gathering through a virtual medium. According to reports, the party has fielded Union Minister Smriti Irani in his place. Now Smriti Irani's gathering of Howrah is expected to attack Mamata Banerjee fiercely. The rally that Dumurjala is going to be held today is said to be very important politically. Leaders of various political parties are going to join BJP in this rally.

The six TMC leaders, including former Minister Rajiv Banerjee, have joined BJP last Saturday. The leader was scheduled to join the BJP in the Kolkata meeting in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but Amit Shah's visit to Bengal was canceled. Due to this, all were taken from Chartered Plains to Delhi and all joined BJP in the presence of Amit Shah on Saturday night.

Now today Rajib Banerjee, MLA Baishali Dalmiya, Rathin Chakraborty, and other leaders who joined BJP will be present in this meeting. Recently, BJP's Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh has said that 'TMC and Mamata Banerjee are no longer trusted by the people of the state. TMC ministers and leaders themselves are unable to trust them. Leaders who want to contribute to the development of Bengal. They are welcome in BJP.'
