PM Modi accused the Mamata government that, 'He criminalized politics, institutionalized corruption and politicized the police.' Apart from this, PM Modi also said, ''People were expecting her to show 'Mamta', but she got 'nirmamata'." PM Modi said all these things in his first rally in the state. He also attacked the Trinamool Congress government during this period.

He said, 'The ruling party has done much dishonesty in the last ten years and the time has come for them to be shown a 'Ram Card' in the assembly elections. The match between the TMC, Congress and the Left parties are fixed and only the BJP government can free the state from misrule, bring real change in their lives.' Apart from this, PM Modi said, ''As soon as the BJP government is formed, a decision will be taken to implement such schemes in the first cabinet meeting. Bengal was expecting Mamata from Mamata Banerjee but she got ruthlessness in the last ten years. The TMC government is merely a rebirth of the Left Front's misrule in the state. She gets angry when she hears the slogans cheering the motherland. When you ask for your rights, she gets angry. When conspiracies are made to tarnish the image of the country, she remains silent.''
