Kolkata: After the communal violence that broke out in Howrah and Hooghly in West Bengal, the BJP has become an enemy of Mamta Banerjee's government. In the press conference held in Delhi, BJP MPs Locket Chatterjee and Debashree Chowdhary said that Hindus are in danger in Bengal. He said that Mamta Banerjee is doing appeasement politics. The situation, which was earlier in Kashmir, is now in Bengal. He demanded the resignation of Chief Minister and Police Minister Mamta Banerjee.

On the other hand, the state BJP unit president, Sukant Majumdar, who reached Hooghly, was stopped by the police. Sukant Mazumdar said that BJP MPs will meet the president and demand his intervention in this matter. Let us tell you that on the occasion of Ram Navami in West Bengal, violence broke out in Howrah and then in Hooghly. On this, BJP supporters in Bengal are protesting in the entire state on Monday. After Howrah, the state BJP president, Sukant Majumdar, was stopped by the police even while going to Risda.

Bengal Police says that Section 144 is applicable in that area, so no one is allowed inside. However, Sukant has alleged that he was deliberately stopped. In protest against this, he started a sit-in protest on the way to Rishra. Workers and supporters also sat with them. Another MP, Jyotirmoy Singh Mahato, also reached there.
