Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has told this day on Saturday that another person allegedly involved in the violence in the city has died due to stomach injuries. With the death of this person, the death toll in violence has increased to 4. In the violence that took place on the night of August 11, the first 3 people died in police firing.
Commissioner Pant told the media in this regard, "He (accused Syed Nadeem) was in jail since August 12. He was brought to Bowering Hospital last night after suffering from chest pain. Probably the accused was hurt by something solid on the stomach. According to the police, Syed Nadeem (24) was arrested on 12 August in connection with the violence in Devra Jeevanhalli and since then he was in jail.
The police have further told about this that he has been confirmed to be infected with a corona infection and on Friday night after his chest pain he was admitted to the hospital where he died. Regarding the death of Nadeem, on the 1st question, Pant categorically refused because of his death. He said, "There is nothing to do with bullets".
