Black Swan actress Natalie Portman and her ballet dancer husband Benjamin Millepied are reportedly fighting to keep their marriage together after she learned that he had an extramarital affair with a 25-year-old woman. According to reports, the couple is trying desperately to save their marriage. The couple, who first connected while working on the Darren Aronofsky film, are secretly attempting to patch things up after it was revealed that Millepaid had an extramarital relationship with a considerably younger lady.

The couple, who got married in 2012, reportedly separated last year but overcame their relationship issues.

The director and choreographer allegedly engaged in infidelity with a much younger woman, according to a French publication that originally broke the story. On the Black Swan set, Natalie and Benjamin first ran into each other. Later, he admitted to the affair, and it is said that they are currently working on their marriage in private. On August 4, 2012, the couple exchanged vows on the Californian coast of Big Sur. Aleph, born in June 2011, and Amalia, born in February 2017, are their two children.

A source told People that Benjamin has acknowledged his "enormous mistake" and is pleading for forgiveness. As per the source, "It was short-lived and it is over… He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together. Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy."
