  Nowadays people like to make different types of vegetables, however, sometimes it happens when there is nothing to cook at home and then do not understand what to make now? If this happens to you too, then you can make simple onion and gram flour curry at home. This vegetable is not only easy to make, but you will also enjoy eating it.

Ingredients for making Onion and Besan curry-
Onion - cut into four large-sized slices
Green chillies - make two from the middle of three
Tomato - one large, chopped
Besan - half cup
Mustard - one tsp
Jeera - one tsp
Fennel - one tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Ginger Garlic - 2 tsp crushed
Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - one tsp
Black pepper powder - half tsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
Roasted Kasoori Fenugreek - 1 tsp
salt - one tsp
Oil - three tbsp

Method of making onion and gram flour vegetable- First of all, put gram flour in a pan and fry it on low flame. Fry the gram flour till it becomes light golden while stirring continuously, take it out in a plate after roasting the gram flour. After this, put oil in a pan and heat it, when the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and fry it lightly. Now add asafoetida, cumin and fennel and fry it for 30 to 40 seconds. After this, add grated ginger garlic and fry it for a minute so that the rawness of garlic comes out. Now when there is a slight change in the colour of ginger-garlic, add onions and stir. Simultaneously, while stirring turmeric powder, mix turmeric with onion and cook for three minutes. So that the rawness of turmeric also ends. Now after cooking the onion for about three minutes, add tomatoes and mix it while stirring. During this, keep in mind that tomatoes should not be mashed in this vegetable. Now cover the pan with a lid and cook it for two to three minutes on low flame, stirring it once or twice in between. After about three minutes, add green chilli, coriander powder, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, red chilli flakes and mix it well while stirring. After this, reduce the flame of the gas completely so that the spices do not burn.

To enhance the taste of the vegetable, even more, add a teaspoon of roasted kasoori fenugreek and mix it while stirring. Now add salt and mix it well while stirring, keep in mind that salt is to be added at the very last. However, if you add salt first, the onions and tomatoes will release their water, making them too soft. Now sprinkle some gram flour in it and mix it while stirring. At the same time, when the gram flour is coated well on the onion-tomato, then add the remaining gram flour and mix it while stirring. Do not add the gram flour together, but sprinkle it two to three times and mix it while stirring. After mixing the gram flour in the vegetable, cover the pan and cook it on low flame for two to three minutes. Switch off the gas after the specified time. Take gram flour, onion dry vegetable is ready.
