As we all know, WhatsApp calls come from the internet, therefore these codes do not imply that the calls are also coming from these countries. These international numbers are allegedly marketed by agencies to con artists throughout the nation, according to various media sources.

What Scammers do: Users of WhatsApp frequently get these calls out of the blue. Right now, it would be best to ignore or refuse the calls. Users have the option to report and block these numbers. You won't get any of the messages, calls, or status updates a blocked contact sent you while they were blocked if you unblock them.
Open a conversation with the contact, then select More > Block > Block to block the phone. You may also report the contact by selecting Block from the Report contact menu. Alternatively, you can open the app and tap on More options .. Go to Settings. ..., tap on Privacy .... Blocked contacts. Tap Add here and search for or select the contact you want to block.
