In today’s day and age, it is considered that most politicians are corrupt individuals, who lack the spine or the foresight to help those who are in need. The meeting which was held at Devendra Fadanavis’s Nagpur residence also hosted Dr Rajendra Phadake the National coordinator BJP for the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao movement.

Rahul Chaturvedi came up with many noteworthy solutions to improve the situation and also took note of other suggestions that came up during the meeting. Firstly, a request for milk companies and organisations to be given a subsidy of at least 4-5 INR per litre of milk has been put in. Secondly, a suggestion came up for it to be made compulsory for any organisations who come from outside Maharashtra’s borders to be permitted an NOC by the government before they can begin milk collection.

The state of Maharashtra is divided into districts which are further separated into multiple talukas. Each of these districts and talukas have their individual milk federations. Against this system, Rahul Chaturvedi suggested that either district milk federations be given the power to override taluka milk federations, or the latter be temporary discontinued. During the meeting, Rahul Chaturvedi also praised the farmer policies and programs that have been set up by PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
