Bhagwan Bharose' won the prize for the best film at the UK Asian Film Festival, giving fans of Indian cinema one more reason to rejoice. Producer and newcomer Shiladitya Bora is behind the camera. Vinay Pathak, Satendra Soni, Sparsh Suman, Manu Rishi Chadha, Masumeh Makhija, and Shrikant Verma are among the actors in the movie.

Shiladitya in the video spoke, sharing a brief footage from the moment the award was announced till she walked up to the podium to accept it. "I appreciate this, UK Asian Film Festival. This is definitely special because it's both my first film as a director and my first honor.

Shiladitya Bora tweeted with the video,"My first feature film as Director. My first award. This one is definitely special. ‘Bhagwan Bharose’ wins the BEST FILM at the 25th UK Asian Film Festival, London. Humbled and Hopeful #BhagwanBharoseTheFilm."

 

The 25th UK Asian feature Festival's final feature, Bhagwan Bharose, had its international premiere at the screening. The plot centers on Satendra Soni and Sparsh Suman, two impressionable young people who struggled to understand religion and God in Jharkhand in the 1990s.

In a press release before to the premiere, Shiladitya had stated, “I feel blessed that a long cherished dream was made possible by a passionate and hardworking group of people, the best cast and crew one can have. This film is a labour of love, and I cannot wait for audiences to experience the story and the incredible performances from our talented cast. We're thrilled to start our journey with the prestigious UK Asian Film Festival in its silver jubilee edition and hope to bring it back home to India soon.”

Vinay Pathak who did the lead role in the movie, had also said, "'Bhagwan Bharose' is a sweet and special story, and I've been fortunate enough to be a part of Shiladitya's first directorial venture. May this wonderful news be the start of his long illustrious cinema journey.”

In “Bagwaan Bharose“ Two impressionable children (Satendra Soni and Sparsh Suman) who battle with their idea of God and religion in 1990s India form the basis of the movie's plot. According to the official synopsis, the movie transports viewers on an emotional journey as they observe the family's effort to maintain its values in the face of threats to its unity.
