Amritsar: Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is soon going to buy three goods trains from the Indian Railways. With this, Punjab will become the first state in the country to buy goods trains from the Railways. Bhagwant Mann had reached an ASSOCHAM program in Mohali and during this, he made this announcement. He said that there is a scheme of Railways, under which they give loans at 3 per cent. A full goods train worth 350 crores is available. If the industry people talk to us together, then we will buy 3 trains. Its name will be 'Punjab on Wheels'. Industry people will have their own racks in it. Punjab will be the first state in the country to have its own goods trains. Tractors will be taken while going from here. While coming back, they will bring the goods of the importers. When coal is needed, they will bring coal.

He further said that we do not have a port and many industries do export-import. To take a tractor to the port, we have to pay 25 thousand fares. He said that the nearest port is Kandla from us and if the sea cannot be made, then we have to make arrangements for it. Regarding investment in Punjab, CM Mann has said 'Earlier also many programs were held, I also saw the pictures. Giving an example, he said that if we have to bring palm trees also from Dubai, then what kind of investment Punjab is this? Several MoUs were signed, but nothing happened further. Words and deeds should be the same, there should be no difference.'

Regarding the officers, CM Mann said, 'Earlier each officer had a separate window, but we have made a single window. All permissions will be available in one place. Industrialists take out the printout from their computers sitting at home. It's too late, now we can't waste time on the matter of permission.'
