'Bharat Bandh' hit in Bihar, block roads

Patna: Farmers today called for a 'Bharat Bandh' against the agriculture bill. Various farmers' organisations, including the Bharatiya Kisan Union, have announced a flywheel jam across the country. This includes 31 organizations. Farmers are supporting several parties including Congress, RJD, Samajwadi Party, Akali Dal, Aam Aadmi Party, Trinamool Congress.

The farmers' performance in Bihar has started since morning. The bandh in Hajipur in Bihar is showing a significant impact. Protesters jammed the NH-19 near the Gandhi Setu and made arson, and supporters were seen shouting slogans by burning tyres on the roads. Protesters shouted slogans along with banner posters protesting against the agriculture bill near Gandhi Setu. Supporters of Pappu Yadav's party Jan Right Party committed arson on the road and blocked the National Highway. The lifeline of north Bihar stopped vehicular traffic on the National Highway near Gandhi Setu and the highway was jammed.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Kumar Jha has also voiced his support for farmers. Manoj Jha said that when Parliament is transformed into a lifeless building, roads and farm barns become bright. Every part of the agricultural society is now an MP. Will ask the question then.
