Communicating the details and essence of this ambitious journey, Congress General Secretary in-charge of Communications, Jairam Ramesh, along with Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, unveiled the comprehensive route map and informational pamphlets outlining the core motives behind Rahul Gandhi's upcoming tour.

However, a setback arose when the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president, Keisham Megachandra, disclosed that the Manipur government has purportedly 'declined' permission for Rahul Gandhi to initiate the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Imphal East district, citing reasons yet to be officially specified.
