Chandigarh: The 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' taken out by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been mired in controversies since its inception. During this, many such acts have been done by Rahul himself, which people have considered an insult to the Hindu religion. Now Rahul Gandhi has given an objectionable statement about the priests. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi also gave an inverted example of Mahabharata. After this, Rahul Gandhi is being accused not only of spreading hatred against Brahmins but also of spreading bad propaganda by misinterpreting ancient religious texts of Hindus. Let us tell you that recently a case was registered against Afzal Lakhani, the IT cell convenor of Gujarat Youth Congress in a similar issue. Actually, Afzal, By making fake IDs in the name of Hindu, used to make derogatory comments about Brahmins. He was hatching conspiracies to make Hindus fight with each other by inciting them against each other. Now people are linking Rahul's statement with Afzal Lakhani's misdeeds and accusing the Congress of being anti-Hindu.

In fact, Rahul Gandhi while giving a press conference during his Bharat Jodo Yatra said, 'This country belongs to ascetics, this country does not belong to priests. This is the reality of this country.' On this, people are asking Rahul Gandhi on social media why he hates priests so much. Along with this, they are also asking why Congress leaders and Rahul Gandhi continuously make derogatory statements targeting the Hindu religion only. Can Rahul make such statements about any other religion? Earlier, even during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi was accused of being anti-Hindu. In fact, during that time, Rahul Gandhi met Pastor George Ponnaiah, notorious for his anti-Hindu remarks. At this time George Ponnaiah told Rahul that 'Jesus is the real God, he is not like Shakti or other Hindu gods.' Its video also went viral, in which Ponnaiah said, 'Jesus is the real God born as a man. Shakti (Maa Durga is called 'Shakti') and not like others.' However, during this period, Rahul Gandhi, who sometimes described himself as a janeudhari Brahmin, sometimes as a Kashmiri Pandit, and sometimes expressed his desire to learn Shivayoga, was seen sitting silently listening to the pastor's words in the video on the such insult of Hindu deities.

Now Rahul Gandhi has once again given a derogatory statement about the priests. Let us tell you that India is also called the country of temples because there are thousands of temples here and almost every temple has some or the other priest. There are many priests in prominent temples. They study the scriptures, worship, and perform rituals according to them. The priests of the village temples are poor, whose family's upkeep depends only on the donations they receive.

On the other hand, in many states, the Imams of mosques are given regular salaries by the government, but the priests do not get any help from the government. In such a situation, if there is no priest, then how will the worship and aarti be done from time to time, from the maintenance and management of the temple? Rahul Gandhi's statement also coincides with that of a Pakistani minister, Sheikh Rasheed, who threatened that 'no bell ringer will be found in Indian temples'. That is, Sheikh Rasheed was also directly threatening the priests. However, it should also be mentioned that at present, not only Brahmins are priests in India, but people of other castes are also becoming priests after studying the scriptures. In such a situation, this statement of Rahul is being seen as an insult to all Hindus.

After this, now on Bhagavadgita and Mahabharata, Rahul Gandhi gave knowledge, 'When Arjuna was shooting the arrow in the eye of the fish, did he say what I will do after this? Did he say? No. The story's meaning is in the Gita as well – Do the work, don't worry about the result.' The competition of 'Matsya Bhedan' was organized for Draupadi's Swayamvara and marriage. Arjun knew what was going to happen after hitting the target. It is also worth noting that, in the state of Kerala where Rahul is MP, the maximum number of youths are getting recruited into the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). But, despite this, in the Bharat Jodo Yatra which lasted for 18 days in Kerala, Rahul did not even once appeal to the youth not to become terrorists, nor did he give any statement against terrorist ideology. Although, it may be a part of the vote bank politics of Congress, According to which Afzal Lakhani is also working. This means making Hindus fight with each other and then take political advantage.
