KARNAL: The Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed its voyege in Haryana on Saturday,  morning, with scores of people joining the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi-led foot march as it reached Karnal district from adjoining Panipat.

Among those who joined the yatra that started from Kohand village in Gharaunda here were senior Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Randeep Singh Surjewala as well as Olympic medalist boxer Vijender Singh.
The yatra will stop here in Indri for the night as planned before continuing on to the Kurukshetra district the following morning.

At a rally on Friday in Panipat, Gandhi attacked the BJP government over the state of the economy and unemployment, claiming that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there are two Indias: one made up of farmers, labourers, and the unemployed, and the other by "100 people" who control "half" of the country's wealth.

From December 21 to 23, the yatra travelled approximately 130 miles across the districts of Nuh, Gurugram, and Faridabad in Haryana.

The yatra, which began on September 7 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, will come to an end on January 30 when Gandhi hoists the Indian flag in Srinagar.

Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh have so far been covered by the march.
