Jammu: The Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress in Jammu and Kashmir started once again on Saturday. Mehbooba Mufti also participated in this yatra which started from Awantipora. Due to this, along with Rahul Gandhi, many big Congress leaders and workers have participated in the yatra in large numbers. The yatra will go till Pantha Chowk via Pulwama. It is being said that today Priyanka Gandhi may also participate in it.

At the same time, politics is going on regarding the security of Rahul. The Congress had stopped the yatra a day earlier alleging lapses in the security of Rahul Gandhi. On the other hand, the Additional Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir said that there has been no lapse in security. 25 companies are deployed under Rahul's security. Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge tweeted the letter sent to the Home Minister. In which he raised the issue of lapse in security regarding the security of Rahul Gandhi.

In a letter to Amit Shah on Friday, Kharge said, "I am writing to you in connection with the unfortunate security lapse in connection with the Bharat Jodo Yatra, about which you are already aware." On the advice of security officials, the yatra had to be postponed for today. We appreciate the J&K Police and welcome their statement that they will continue to ensure complete security till the end of terrorism. He further added ''You will appreciate that a huge crowd of common people have participated and walked in the Bharat Jodo Yatra every day. Letting the organizers know how many people are expected to attend on the day is very difficult. We are expecting a large number of people to attend the yatra over the next two days and the meeting to be held in Srinagar on 30 January.'' Many senior Congress leaders and leaders of other important political parties are participating in the concluding program to be held on January 30. I would be grateful if you could personally intervene in the matter and advise the concerned authorities to provide adequate security till the completion of the yatra and celebrations on January 30 in Srinagar.
