Giant private telecom company Bharti Airtel has reported an integrated loss of Rs 5,237 crore in the last quarter of the financial year 2019-20 ie March quarter. The main reason for this loss of the company is the provision made for payment of statutory debts. Bharti Airtel had a net profit of Rs 107 crore in the same quarter last year. The company has said that it is monitoring the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic. The company said that it is taking immediate steps by identifying the risk areas so that the business can continue smoothly. However, due to the increase in revenue per user of the company, shares of the company rose by 10 percent on Tuesday.

Airtel received an integrated income of Rs 23,722.7 crore from January to March 2020. The company said that the company has achieved good growth in all segments. The telecom company had a revenue of Rs 20,602.2 crore in the March quarter last year. A statement issued by Airtel said that the data for March 2020 cannot be compared to the earlier data. For this, the company has termed the implementation of 'Ind AS 116' effective from April 1, 2019.

The company has informed that the company incurred a net loss of Rs 32,183.2 crore in the financial year 2019-20. The company earned Rs 87,539 crore in the last financial year. The company had a net profit of Rs 409.5 crore in the financial year 2018-19.
