Lucknow: Hathras rape case victim succumbed today while battling between life and death. On September 14, the girl was gang-raped by 4 people and the four of them are now in police custody. However, the FIR of the Hathras police does not mention gang rape, the victim's family making these allegations. Political debate has erupted in this case.

Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad has reached Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi today to meet the family members of the victim. He has demanded strict action against the accused. Earlier, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra spoke to the family on the phone and promised to meet in three to four days. MLA Jignesh Mevani said that the Bharat Bandh should be called upon by all opposition parties and Dalit organizations. A 19-year-old daughter, who was a victim of rape in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, died in a hospital in Delhi today. The rapists cut this girl's tongue so that she could not speak anything about the atrocities they had committed. 

Minister in the Kejriwal government, Rajendra Pal Gautam said, "Jungle Raj, CM Yogi should resign from his post. He demads the Central Government to topple the Yogi government, and conduct a CBI inquiry into the Hathras rape case and provide protection to the victim's family. Along with this, compensation of 1 crore should be provided. File charge sheet in 2 months and hang the culprits within a time span of 6 months".
